WHAT YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW (aka The Rules):

ALL DETAILS FOR THE DAY OF SHOW EVENTS WILL BE EMAIL TO YOU THE WEEK OF THE SHOW.  Because of sound check arrangements with the venues, the time is not confirmed until the same week as the show.

Your passe(s) will not be shipped to you. Lanyards are distributed in person at the meet and greet per the instructions emailed to you once we confirm your order. You may not exchange for another date/venue after your meet and greet has been purchased. Late arrivals will not be accommodated. You must be at the main entrance of the venue at the time required. Refunds or other forms of compensation will not be given.
  1. Sound check information will be sent out the 1 week prior to the show.
  2. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.  You must be at the main entrance of the venue at the time required.  Refunds or other forms of compensation will not be given.
  3. Concert/Show tickets are not included in your Sound Check or Autographed Guitar package and must be purchased separately.
  4. Photos with Rick and autographs will be limited to TWO each per person.  Again, this is a working sound check and Rick wants to make sure he gets to everyone AND has time to prepare for a quality show.
  5. The sound check meet and greet is exclusive to you and the limited number of other fans who also purchased passes for that day.  Please be respectful of the other fans’ time with Rick, just a you would expect them to respect yours. Do not hover while Rick is spending time with another fan. Kindly take a seat while he is taking photos and signing autographs with others. If you try to monopolize Rick’s time for yourself, you will be asked to leave the sound check and no refund will be given.
  6. No video cameras will be allowed at the sound check.  Still cameras are okay.
  7. Rick and members of the band will not be available for phone calls, so please DO NOT hand them your cell phone.  Again, time is limited and there is serious work to be done with the crew in time for the show. 
  8. DO NOT CONTACT THE VENUE REGARDING SOUND CHECK PASSES. Sound check passes are solely distributed by rickspringfieldmerch.com.  The venue does not have a copy of the guest list or the sound check details.  Any and all questions should be directed to info@rickspringfieldmerch.com.  Part of our agreement with the venue is that we will handle all sound check meet and greet details.  To ensure their ongoing cooperation, please respect their request. If you call the venue, we reserve the right to remove you from our meet and greet list.
  9. You will be required to exit the premises prior to the show and may not simply go to your seats and remain until show time.  This is a venue requirement.  No exceptions.
  10. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED AT SOUND CHECK - PERIOD.  Anyone under the influence of a controlled substance or causing a disturbance will be removed from the premises and will not be refunded.
  11. If for any reason Rick is unable to attend the sound check, you will be added to the guest list to meet Rick after the show.  Of course, you can still attend sound check with the band as well.
  12. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of sound check passes at anytime for any reason.
  13. Smile and have a good time -- you’re at the sound check of a Rick Springfield show!

Being a dedicated fan of Rick's for 29 years, I decided it was time to purchase the sound check experience and let me tell you, it was truly nothing less than amazing!  The sound check pass allows you to see the professional / perfectionist side of Rick as he works with his band to fine tune the upcoming show.  Rick came over to meet us and he was so down to earth and approachable- a gracious and gentle soul, not to mention, an awesome performer! Sound check Rocks!!

Best time of my life.... July 31, 2010

This will be the best experience you will ever have.  If you have never done a sound check before you won't be disappointed.  We did this in Norfolk, NE on 6-26-10 and the band was not able to make it early so we couldn't have the normal soundstage pass; but George made it up to us after the show and gave us special treatment to get the chance to meet Rick and get pictures and autographs....  Thanks Rick for making all my dreams to come true.. I will remember this for the rest of my life.  This was the best birthday present ever!!! I hope I get the chance to do this again...

Making My Birthday Wish Come True November 12, 2009

I celebrated my 50th Birthday this June but remember wishing as a teenager that I would meet Rick Springfield, somewhere, someday.
I had been planning my first trip to the U.S.A. from Melbourne, Australia. It was a girlfriend who suggested I check where Rick would be playing at the time of my trip. I chose Lincoln, Rhode Island, as it fitted in well with my travel plans.
I was/am so overwhelmed by the whole experience. When Rick came out on stage, I cried, it was really him! I had my time with Rick and half the things I wanted to say, flew out the window, but my personal photo I took with him, oh my, it was the best ever!
DO IT! Whether you have to travel 40, 400, 4000 or 10500miles like I did, DO IT. It was thye best thing I had done for myself and made my own dream come true!

I attended my first sound check on October 16, 2009 in Rhode Island.  What an experience!  The sound check and meeting Rick was everything I hoped it would be and more!  It was a fun behind the scenes up close and personal time!  Rick is very approachable instantly makes you feel both special and comfortable.  It is an experience that every Rick fan should have at least once.

This was the best experience of my life!!!!I just got back this past weekend from a sound check pass and concert in peoria,Illinois, Meeting rick behind the scenes and the band was awesome/coolest experience!!everyone is soo nice!!rick is the greatest!!I couldnt of asked for better day!!got to get autographes and photos and even celebrate ricks 60th birthday! He opened his gifts and we all got to see a cake someone had made for him!!! truly experience of a lifetime!! thanks rick for giving me the opportunity to purchase a sound check pass!!You rock!!I will be definetly do this again and even getting a vip pass backstage pass!! this is the ultimate fan experience!!!Tori
