If you have a "muffin top" or have a bit of a belly and are self-conscious about a pot-belly...then you may want to skip this. The shorts are very comfortable fabric wise and very well constructed, but they are low rise. The clearance price is a deal at twice the price. As much as I love RS, my body keeps me from wearing these in public.

Board Shorts fit snug!	August 25, 2010

My waist is normally 29-30 in Miss Me/Silver type jeans. I bought a large because I wanted them loose. However, they are Snug in the hips/butt and "jus"t fit in the waist. I don't think a Medium would have gone on at all! If I got an XL then I think the waist would be too big. I do have this problem frequently since I am somewhat pear shaped! Guess this is a sign to lose weight before the cruise! The quality is decent but order up a size or 2.
